Back in the 1950's, the year 2000 was what futuristic dreams were all about. From Buck Rogers to Capt. James T. Kirk, it all seemed way out in the future. A place in time so very far away that most of us that were around back then never really thought we would live to see.
Most people believed that the human race would destroy the earth and themselves along with it way before the year 2000. However, that was not the case and most of us made it to the turn of the century with a grateful heart and some great stories to tell.
